You don't want me anymore, so I'll just walk right out the door. Played a game right from the start, I trust you, you used me now my hearts all torn apart. So I'm sailin, well I'm sailin on. Well I'm movin, hey I'm movin on. Sail on, sail on. Try to see if I'll give up. But there wasn't any luck. It's a fact, fact of life. That's the games, games of strife. Everything is all in stride. There's too many years with too many tears, and too many days, with nothing to say, and how will we know when there's nowhere to grow. And what's the facts for life to show.

Grampians.. known as "Gariwerd" meaning "Mountain Range" by the aboriginals. Famous with its spectacular views of the valley from Barooka Lookout, The Balconies (to the Jaws of Death)... and amazing McKenzie Falls.. Also famous with its wildflowers and wildlife.. kangaroos and kookaburras...

Special thanks to Upik (my housemate from Indonesia), Jin (my housemate from Thailand) and Thong (also from Thailand) for this wonderful trip...

I just realised that i have these "not so perfect" pictures of sunrise in my laptop... captured a few months ago on my way to Mt Buller for the snow trip http://sitinaz.fotopages.com/?entry=531063..
Those pictures were captured from a moving bus.. at first i thought it wasn't good.. but now i started to give credit to some of my photos..

Camberwell and Williamstown

Just arrived at the Camberwell station...
Camberwell's Sunday Market..
Camberwell's Sunday Market
View all 27 photos...
My another entry for Sunday outing... enjoy viewing...

Location 1: Camberwell's Sunday Market

Quote:
Camberwell Market
As Melbourne wakes up on a typically lazy Sunday morning, stall holders at the Camberwell Market have been setting up since 5.30am. Buyers arrive early as this is the spot to find second hand goods at prices that can be negotiated. Up to 8,000 people visit the Camberwell Market each Sunday to soak up the atmosphere and search for hidden treasures. In these idyllic surrounds you will find everything from flowers, food and CDs to clothes, books and even binoculars. The Camberwell Market is so popular that there are nearly 900 enquiries each week. Although there are only 360 stalls most of these are permanent stall holders so there is only a small number on offer. For the rest of the week the area is used as a car park, so the easiest thing to do is to just pull up and sell out of the back of your car. If you are catching the train the closest stop is the Camberwell Station. The market is open for business on Sundays from dawn and can be found in Station Street, Camberwell.

Location 2: Williamstown

Quote:
Quick facts:
*13 kilometres south-west of Melbourne
*Historic maritime village
*Fine dining opportunities.

This quiet waterfront suburb boasts a proud maritime history and is just minutes from the city, offering a relaxing alternative to the bustle of city life. The old historic buildings of Nelson Place offer some of Melbourne's best waterfront eateries where you can enjoy breathtaking views of Melbourne's city skyline through the masts of bobbing boats on the foreshore. Take some time to explore the diverse range of arts, crafts and other speciality shops around Nelson Place. You'll find everything from galleries to classic vinyl and CD shops and don't miss the craft market on the third Sunday of each month.

Discover the history of Williamstown, which was established in 1837 as Melbourne's first port. The Enterprize was the first vessel to carry European Settlers up the Yarra and into Melbourne and a timber replica is now available for chartered trips on weekends with tours of the interior always available.

I have been to Williamstown last year and it was great. We took a boat from St Kilda to the Sunday Market, and while crossing the sea, we saw many small penguins in the water, birds flying down and catching the fishes in the water, yatchs sailing, starfishes on the beach, etc...fun!!! I captured those beauties on video....And I'm sure that you had a good time there too.... Wed 30-Nov-2005 21:38

Geelong

The shadow of the tree... with the sea view...
To the Cunningham Pier... a restaurant...
i had my lunch here...
View all 15 photos...
Actually I came here about a month ago... but i missed to upload the photos... nothing so special about Geelong... a waterfront with great views and a peace place to relax... I like the Bollards - wooden sculptures that represent past characters... there are more 100 bollards located along the bay path... but i didn't manage to see them all... because it was just a short trip...

Enjoy viewing...

The photo that is "like a pondok" is a bandstand. In the 1800s and early decades in the 1900s bands would play in the bandstands and people would come to the park to hear them play. Sometimes, on special occasions, they are still used. What is a pondok?

I'm glad you had a good time in Geelong!

Hi Gayle,
Thanks for the information about the "pondok" in Geelong.
Pondok is a Malay word for a small house or a sitting area or stand... just like the bandstand. To look at some examples of Malaysian traditional pondok, just key in the word "pondok" in Google Images and you can see many kinds of pondok.

Cheers...

1 Syawal 1426

Antara juadah hari raya yang ada...
Sate goreng dan rendang...
Ketupat segera... tak der daun kelapalah... ekekek..
View all 6 photos...

Walaupun cuma tiga orang macam-macam jugak kami masak... i masak rendang ayam and bergedil, Kak Riza masak kuzi ayam and sate goreng, Kak Imah pulak buat nasi tomato, kuah kacang and acar nenas... sedap semuanya... tapi kesian kat Kak Riza sebab petang raya ada meeting dengan supervisor and Kak Imah masih sibuk siapkan assignment... i jer yang free sebab semua dah settle...

To Kak Riza and Kak Imah... thank you very much atas layanan yang diberikan and for all the juadah hari raya... sorrylah mengganggu akak berdua... hehehe... kalau tak der akak berdua tak berayalah saya... tak pun raya dengan housemate Indonesia lah nampaknya...

Hahahah..just got the opportunity to read/view yr fotopages..banyakkkk tul makanan kita raya ari tu kan?!!..surprisingly, semua habis lak tuh!!! hahaah ..still struggling with my proposal and so do Kak Imah with her assignments.. nanti rilek2 kitorg pi clayton kay!! bila tu x tau laaa Sun 13-Nov-2005 07:08
